As a part of our B . Ed curriculum we have an internship program for 45 days in semester 3. As a part of the program I got KRGPM VHSS and HSS Odanavattam for my training.
My first week of training program was interesting. I get to know different types of people. Students nature was different each day. I pretty much liked the new experience, new atmosphere and new pupil.
Day 1
23/09/2024 Monday was day one of our internship program.We were a group of 4 people Anjana, Vidya, Arathy and Megha. We are assigned KRGPM VHSS &HSS Odanavattam for our internship program.Megha is from social science and all others are from Mathematics department. We reached the school at 9:30 am. We met our mentor teacher Mrs. Moly and gathered timetable for classes. Today we got no classes as the teachers were distributing exam papers. We went to meet our students in their classes. Afternoon at 1:30 pm, there was a quiz competition based on mathematics and social science on behalf of their youth festival for students of class 8,9,10. We along with our mentor teacher conducted the quiz competition. Today the classes ended early by 3:00 pm.

Day 2
24/09/2024 Tuesday was day 2 of our internship program. We reached school at 9:30 am. After signing the register we went to our space. We already got timetables, I had class at 8 D in the first hour. Then in 9B in 4th period. Moreover we got substitution periods for extra 3 periods in 5 th std and 8th std. There I took basic mathematics classes and language reading.
Students were practicing for their youth festival which is to be conducted on October 3rd. We observed their practice sessions and witnessed their writing competitions.
We reached school at 9:25 am. I had first period maths class at 8 D class and second period at 9 B class. Students were more active than my first classes. They responded actively. I felt betterment in my classes than my previous class. Later I got substitution periods in UP classes and HS classes as well.
Day 4
26/09/2024 Thursday was the fourth day of school internship program.As usual we reached school at 9:30 am, signed the register and went to meet mentor teacher for signing our lesson templates. I had subject periods in 8 D in the first period and second period in 9 B. Then again in the 4th period I got substitution at 8D and 5 th period at 9A.

Day 5
27/9/2024 Friday was the day 5 of our school internship program. As a daily routine we reach the school at 9:30 a.m.,like all other days we signed register and went to our mentor to sign the LP.
Later I had first ever class at 8D. Today took 2 problems as class. I made sure that they are clear with the concept and able to do problems by themselves. Then I got one substitution periods. In the third and fourth periods I was free. I would like the time to prepare presentations and teaching need for the next two classes.
Today there was no classes in the afternoon session due to an unexpected thing which happened in the school. One of a plus one student of our school was missing from yesterday. Today by noon everyone came to know that she is no more. We don't know what exactly happened to her. So as our headmaster told we went back home around 2:30 pm.
