Last week of school internship week 7

 Day 29

27/1/2025 Monday 

Phase 2 teaching practice at KRGPM VHSS and HSS Odanavattam.

Today marked the day 28 of our teaching practise. We reached school by 9:30 in the morning. I had my regular class at 8D in the first period. Later got substitution periods at 9A and 9C. After completing all our works we left the School by 4 pm.

Today marked the 28 th day of our teaching practice.We reached school by 9:30 in the morning. I had my regular class at 8D in the first period. Later got substitution periods at 9A and 9C. After completing all our works we left the School by 4 pm.

Day 31 

29/1/2025 Wednesday 

Today was the last day of our school internship of semester 4. We after the regular class met our mentor teacher and then our headmaster. From our headmaster we got our attendance register signed and sealed, got our lesson plans signed.

Today as a part of gratitude we gifted the headmaster a small gift. We met the teachers and conveyed our gratitude towards them. We gave chocolates to all students whom we taught.

 Then after all our duties we left the school at 3:30pm.

Weekly Reflection - Week 6

 Day 24

20/1/2025 Monday.

 We reached the school at 9:30 a.m. signed our attendance register and we went to our place. Today we had general assembly. All the students from up and high school session gathered in front of the high school building. After the prayer song the  general manager, PTA president and our headmaster spoke about the events to be celebrated. The main agenda of the assembly was to congratulate and grand certain certificates and shields for those who won prizes  like first A grade and second A grade in the district and state kalolsavam. Likewise a similar Assembly was conducted on the higher secondary department also before this one. Today I have classes at 8 B and 9C in the 6th and 7th period respectively. Moreover I got substitution periods in 9A and 8C.

Day 25

21/1/2025 Tuesday.

 Today we  reached school at 9:40 a.m. we had general observation today.

Today 21/1/2025 Tuesday was the day 21 of our teaching practice phase 2. Today our general teacher Arun Raj sir came for our class observation. We were 4 members. We arranged our class in a continuous order. First hour class was taken by Arathy B at 8C, second hour class was taken by Mekha S Madhu at 8B, third hour class class was mine. I took the class at 8C. The fourth period was taken by Vidya V at 8B. After the class sir told us the comments.

In my class 8c in the third period I look a new lesson plan from the chapter "Area of quadrilaterals". My topic was "Area of a Trapezium ". My class went as I planned. Students were so much active. I could conclude my class on time. Sir gave postive comments.

 

Day 26

22/1/2025 Wednesday.

 Today was just like other normal days. As usual we reach is cold by 9:30 a.m. sign the attendance register and went for our classes. Today the number of teachers were less so we got so many substitution periods.

 In the evening from 3:00 p.m. there was a PTA meeting conducted for 9th standard students. So there was no regular class 4 9th standard students in the last period.

  After completing all over work by 4:00 p.m. we left to the school.

Day 27

23/1/2025 Thursday.

Today was just like other normal days. As usual we reach is cold by 9:30 a.m. sign the attendance register and went for our classes. Today we had several substitution classes and our actual classes also.

 In the evening from 3:00 p.m. there was a PTA meeting conducted for 10th standard students. So there was no regular class  students in the last period.

  After completing all over work by 4:00 p.m. we left to the school.

Day 28

24/1/2025 Friday.

 Today as usual we reached the school at 9:30 a.m. after signing the attendance register we went to our place. In the first period I got substitution in 9C class. Then I had my original class at 8 B in the 3rd period and sixth period.

General Observation Day

Today 21/1/2025 Tuesday was the day 21  of our teaching practice phase 2. Today our general teacher Arun Raj sir came for our class observation. We were 4 members. Day 20

13/01/2025 Monday

Today as usual we reached school at 9:30 a.m. after signing the attendance register we went to the room which is assigned for us. Today I had to take classes in 8D and 9C. I was already prepared for the class . In the first periodbI was free. I would like the time to revise my topics to be taught in the class. In the second period I had class in 8C. I took a lesson plan there I also got substitution period in the last period in the same class.

I had class at 9C in the fifth and 6th period. Later when all our works got completed, we signed the attendance register and we left the school at 4:00 p.m. 

Day 21

15/1/2025 Wednesday 

 Today marked the 21st day of our teaching practice. As usual we reached the school at 9:30 a.m. we sign the attendance register and went to our room there we planned for our today's classes. Today I had class 8 D in 1st period, 8B in the 6th period and class at 9C in the 5th and 7th period.

Day 22

16/1/2025 Thursday 

 Today was the 22nd day of our teaching practice. We reached the school at 9:30 a.m. today I have no classes in the fore noon session. My class was in the afternoon session. I to classes for 8D,9C and 9A. Morover we got some extra substitution periods also.

 After all of our works were finished we left the school after signing the attendance register by 4:00 p.m. 

Day 23

17/1/2025 Friday 

 Today was the 23rd day of our teaching practice. We reach the school by 9:30 a.m. signed the attendance register and went to our respective places. I was free in the first period. Then I went to 8D to take classes in the third period. I got substation period in 9A in the 4th and 5th period. I took class in 8 B in the 6th period. Later in the 7th period which was the last period I got class at 9C.. after completing all our works and classes we signed the attendance register and left the school by 4:00 p.m.

 Day 15 

6/1/2025 Monday 

 Today we reached school at 9:30 a.m. 
As usual we signed the attendance register and went to our places. I had to take 1st period class at 8D. But today onwards my class 8D was split and added on to the other two divisions. All girls were added to 8B class and boys were added to 8C class. So I lost my respective class. Now I have to continue my part portion in both the classes. My peers have to take class in the same class like me. Today we got substitution in 9C,9A,8B and 8C. Today was a little bit busy day.

At the evening after finishing all our works we left the school at 4 pm after signing the attendance register.

Day 16

7/1/2025 Tuesday 

Today was our observation day. Our optional teacher visited our school for observing our classes. My class was at the first period in 8 D classroom. 

  Teacher came at 9.30 am. The first hour class was of Arathy at 8 C. Then the second period class was of class 8 B by Vidya.. Then after than our optional teacher Vismaya miss came and observed my class.My class time was from 11:40 to 12:20 am.

  She gave positive comment's for my class. My class went as I planned. It was satisfactory for me too. Students were somewhat disturbed but I managed it well.

  I try to take the class in an activity ooriented way. It was a learner centered classroom. Students did the activities well as i expected. The only suggestion she gave was to manage time and delivere the content before the conclusion session.

 After all our works were completed we left the school at 4:00 p.m. after signing our attendance register.

Day 17

8/1/2025 Wednesday 

 Today as usual we reach the school at 9:30 a.m. After signing the attendance register, we went back to the place where we sit. I didn't have to take the first hour class but I got substitution in the first period in 8D. It was there Biology period.

 I took my math's class there. Letter we got so many substitution periods. I took my regular maths class in 9C   class. Like any other day after we completed all over works we signed our attendance register and left the school at 4:00 p.m. in the evening.

Day 18

9/1/2025 Thursday 

 Today like any other day, it's just a normal day. There was no special programs conducted today.

 Today as usual we reach the school at 9:30 a.m. in the morning. We then signed our attendance register. After signing or attendance we went back to our place. Later we got the substitution period hours. According to that time table we went to each classes. My regular period was at 9 c in the second period. I don't have regular periods that 8th standard now. But I get substitution periods in the same class so that I could take their portions in that period. Then I got 6th period substitution in 8C. When all over classes were completed by the evening we left  the school after signing the attendance register at 4:00 p.m.

Day 19

10/1/2025 Friday 

 Today also we research school at 9:30 a.m. we went directly to sign the attendance register and went back to our places. Rey had my regular classes at to 6th and 7th periods. But in between we got some substitution periods also. I took a new lesson plan in 8D and likewise in 8B.

Later when all our works got finished I left the school at 4:00 pm after signing the attendance register.

OPTIONAL OBSERVATION - SEM 4

Date : 7/1/2025  Tuesday

WEEKLY REFLECTION 3

 Day 11 

30/12/2024 Monday 

 The school re-opened today after 10 days leave for Christmas holidays.Today we reached school at 9:30 am. I had first period class at 8D. Today I started a new chapter in my class. The chapter was named Area of quadrilaterals. Students were somewhat distracted as they were enjoying their holidays for so long. Chit chatting was there. I took a lesson today. Later all over works completed, we left the school in the evening after signing the attendance register.

Day 12

31/12/2024 Tuesday 

Today was the last day of this year 2024. As usual today also we reached school at 9:30 a.m. After signing the attendance register and meeting the headmaster we went to our respective place. Today I had 1st period class at 8D. After my regular class in addition I also got some extra periods as substitution. I took the class in 9C. There I began a new chapter "prisms ". 

Day 13

1/1/2025 Wednesday

Today marked the first day of the new year. We reached school early. Today we took classes as usual. We reached school before 9:30. After signing the attendance register we went to our room. I had 1st period mathematics class at 8D, which is my regular class. Later I got substitution periods in 9C and 9A there I took their portions as I prepared. Later when all our works were completed we left the school at 4 pm after signing the attendance register.

Day 14

3/1/2025 Friday 

Today as usual we reached the school at 9:30 am. First we reached the headmasters office, signed our attendance register and went to our respective place where we sit usually. 

Today there was a special assembly arranged at the school especially for the higher secondary students inorder to award the prizes for students who got first prises in the district kalolsavam and other programs conducted inside the school.

Today I took first period class at 8 D class. There I took a new lesson plan. Later we got substitution periods at 9A, 9C and 8B. In the evening at 4 pm after all our works were completed we left the school after signing the attendance register.
