Today, 4 th of January 2024, Thursday we had a demonstration class of microteaching skills.
As a part of the B.Ed curriculum, we were provided with a detailed demonstration class for various microteaching skills. The forenoon session was arranged in the general class. And the afternoon session was arranged optional wise.There were five resource persons to demonstrate the various skills.
In the forenoon session the resource persons demonstrated ten microteaching skills. At first they explained the skills and its components to be noted orally. Then they took a 5-6 min class. The skills they demonstrated were:
1. Skill of introduction.
2. Skill of fluency in questioning.
3. Skill of illustrating with examples.
4. Skill of blackboard usage.
5. Skill of reinforcement.
6. Skill of explanation.
7. Skill of probing questioning.
8. Skill of using AV aids.
9. Skill of stimulus variation.
10. Skill of closure.
The class was really informative and useful.
